“Do Not Conform…”

A little sidebar for today.
Five hundred years ago today a lawyer-turned-priest nailed a document to the door of a church building.
Soon to be known as the “95 Theses”, Martin Luther had put into words the things that bothered him about the organizational church. Most dealt with “indulgences”…the passing out of “forgiveness” based upon “contributions.”
Many point to this act as the seminal moment in the nascent “protestant movement”.
Perhaps.
The Lord was already moving in the heart of many.
Many were seeing that “it is by grace that we are saved through faith…not of works”.
We do well to remember and reflect upon the grace of the Lord.
Most do not.
Most celebrate “fall festivals”…at best a weak attempt at sanitizing “halloween”.
Read these verses.
Seek the Lord as to what He is saying to you.
Ephesians 5:11 ESV
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

And give no opportunity to the devil.

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers;

Do not be conformed to the world.
Be transformed!
