Hear the Word of the prophet Jeremiah.
Hope in the Lord.
Hope in Him alone.
It is He Who brings the rain…not the idols of man or the false gods of creation.
Jer 14:22
Are there any among the idols of the nations who give rain?
Or can the heavens grant showers?
Is it not You, O LORD our God?
Therefore we hope in You,
For You are the one who has done all these things.
Then…
Jer 29:11
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’
declares the LORD,
‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
The Lord has plans for each of us…
Eph 2:10
For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
We are…
- God’s workmanship
- Created in Christ Jesus for good works
- Walk in the good works that God prepared beforehand - before creation
God has plans for welfare, not calamity.
God has plans of a future and hope for each believer.
