Blessings folk!

We saw yesterday that we were once…
foolish
disobedient
deceived
enslaved to various lusts
enslaved to pleasures

We once spent our lives in…
malice
envy
hate
hating one another

But, then we were saved.


What brought forth this salvation?

Tit 3:3-7

For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The source of this salvation?
the kindness of God our Savior
the love of God for mankind
the mercy of God
the grace of God

How was/is salvation provided?
not on the basis of deeds
not on our righteousness
washing of regeneration by the blood of Jesus
renewing by the Holy Spirit
What is the result?
we are justified
we are made heirs
we have hope of eternal life
