Now, we continue with the people of the Lord who have an enemy gathering against them.
We are the same.
We have had enemies that have gathered against us.
Now, we have enemies that have infiltrated/gathered within us.
They are now executing their plan.
I am speaking of a multitude of things….
Political
Religious
Personal
Etc.
The Word of the Lord had been spoken to His people through Jahaziel.
Remember the last Word that the Lord spoke to them…
2 Ch 20:17
‘You need not fight in this battle;
station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf,
O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed;
tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.”
You need not fight!
Station yourself!
Stand!
See the salvation of the Lord!
Do not fear!
Do not be dismayed.
The battle is the Lord’s.
How did the king respond?
How did the leadership respond?
How did the people respond?
2 Ch 20:18-19
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground,
and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD,
worshiping the LORD.
The Levites, from the sons of the Kohathites and of the sons of the Korahites,
stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel, with a very loud voice.
The King and people fell with their face to the ground and worshipped the Lord.
The Levites from Kohathites and Korahites (worship leaders!!) stood up.
They praise the Lord God of Israel.
They praised with a very loud voice!
Do likewise.
