“Wild Waves, Wandering Stars”

Blessings folk!

HIdden reefs…
Shepherds feeding themselves…
Waterless clouds…
Swept along by winds…
Fruitless trees…
Twice dead…
Uprooted…

Such are those who have “crept in unnoticed”. Let us look at the last two descriptions...and a conclusion.

Jude 12-13
12 These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted;
13 wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.

They are as the wild waves of the sea.
Uncontrollable.
No discernible pattern.
Reacting to forces from without.
Casting up foam.
Manifesting shame.

They are wandering stars.
Unpredictable.
Leading to destruction.
False points of direction.

Something has been reserved for them - the gloom of utter darkness.
They will be judged by the Most High God.
He has a place reserved for them for all eternity.
