Children...a Blessing!

Blessings Folk!

The united States of American now has a new chief executive - President. Also a new congress.

Here is what the new president said the past couple of years upon the campaign trail...in varied forms…

"Throughout my career, I've been a consistent and strong supporter of reproductive justice, and have consistently had a 100% pro-choice rating with Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America.

When South Dakota passed a law banning all abortions in a direct effort to have Roe overruled, I was the only candidate for President to raise money to help the citizens of South Dakota repeal that law. When anti-choice protesters blocked the opening of an Illinois Planned Parenthood clinic in a community where affordable health care is in short supply, I was the only candidate for President who spoke out against it. And I will continue to defend this right by passing the Freedom of Choice Act as president.

Many times he said…

"The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom Of Choice Act."

Well, we will see if this is true.

This truly reflects the condition of our country. I expect the unsaved to respond to “wonderful, lofty rhetoric.” I hope that those who are true believers will speak forth the truth.

For the most part they have not.

Many folk who profess to be believers are rejoicing that the person who is the most adamant about the “right” to kill the unborn...and also the born that just happen to survive an abortion...is now president.

Folk readily say “well, God raises kings and brings down kings.” True. But when they say this they forget that often the Lord raises up kings to be used for judgment of His people who have walked in disobedience...who have worshipped their own desires…

We are to pray for the leadership. I’m praying that all...local, state, federal...will be completely and totally saved...

We are to stand for the Truth of the Lord.

We are to resist evil.

One can not say “oh, I’m supporting them because God tells us to submit to the powers that be…”.

We are to submit to good not evil.

As mentioned in a previous time together, I’m reminded of this vividly every year. Our wedding anniversary is January 22…the same day as the Roe v Wade ruling by the Supreme Court which found the “right” for overt murder of children.

Be reminded of the Word of the Lord…

Ps 139:14-18
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
KJV

This year is even more special.

As we await to see if Obama will fulfill his repeated promise to sign the “Freedom of Choice Act” as his very first act...knowing that millions more will die…

We rejoice in learning that our third daughter...Lenee...is expecting her first child. Lenee and Aaron married October 2007.

Number 7 grandbaby...5 here, 1 due in March, Lenee’s in September...

Prov 17:6
6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
KJV

Ps 127:3-5
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
KJV

Blessings!!
