“Judas Testifies”

Blessings Folk!

Today’s reading:

Matthew 27:3-10

The Word fulfilled.

The Lord had prophesied through Jeremiah about thirty pieces of silver and the Potter’s Field.

Here we have fulfillment.

There is an amazing truth here that rarely goes noted.

Judas, the betrayer, the son of perdition, testified that Jesus was innocent.
Judas declared that he had betrayed innocent blood.

Yet, the religious rulers cared not.
They were in pursuit of an agenda that protected their power and way of life.
Jesus had to be eliminated.

Judas felt remorse.
He was sorrow.
Yet he did not repent.
He experienced the “repentance of the world”, yet he sought not the repentance of the Lord.

So many do so.
They feel sorrow.
They feel guilty.
Yet, they do not repent and turn from their sins.

Be not one.
