John 13:34-35

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

We have covered this many times in the past.
We do well to remember.

Jesus gave them/us a new commandment.
New related to what?
New when compared to the Law.

What is the new?

Love one another.
Love one another as the Lord has loved them/us.

Then the profound.

The world will know that we are His disciples by our love for one another.
Not by our religion.
Not by our programs.
Not by our processes.
Not by our procedure.
Not by buildings.
Not by gathering.
Not even by our love for the Lord Himself.

By our love for one another.

Consider this today.

What does the world see related to our love for one another?

I suspect it is not what the Lord desires…
