“You Will Surely Die”
Blessings folk!
There were two trees in the midst of the garden.
Tree of Life.
Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
The Lord commanded that man not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The Lord then said something else…
“You Will Surely Die”

The Lord commanded that man not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The Lord then said something else…
Gen 2:16-17
The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely;
but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
They would die in the day that they ate of the tree.
Did this occur?
As we will see in more detail, the moment they ate, sin and death entered into the world.
They died.
It took a number of years for their bodies to expire - 900 for Adam?
Yet, from that moment on, they were dying.
From that moment on things changed…yet, there is hope.
