Mar 16:14-18

Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table;
and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart,
because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved;
but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

“These signs will accompany those who have believed:
in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

They will speak in new tongues.

There are several examples of such in the New Testament.
Acts 2 is a major one.
Acts 10, 19 are others.

1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14 reveal that “tongues” is a gifting of the Spirit for the building up of the Body of Christ and a sign to unbelievers.

1Co 12:10
and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

 1Co 12:28
And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues.

 1Co 12:30
All do not have gifts of healings, do they?
All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?

1Co 14:22a
So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers;

Do you believe?
Will you receive what the Lord has for you?

Live not in fear.
Live in faith.
