Blessings saints!

A curious thing.

I’ve often wondered why God designed us with a need for rest...or even if that was so prior to the rebellion of Adam and Eve.

We are to rest in the Lord.

Receive rest from the following:

Psalm 16:8-10
8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Psalm 37-6-8
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Wait patiently.
Fret not thyself.
Cease from anger.
Forsake wrath.
Set the Lord before you.
Rest in His Hope.
