“Secret…”

Blessings folk!

We saw what the Lord does for the one who fears Him…

• He will instruct in the way he should choose
• Our soul will abide in prosperity
• Our descendants will inherit the land

Psalm 25:12-13
12 Who is the man who fears the LORD?
He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
13 His soul will abide in prosperity,
And his descendants will inherit the land.

Now we learn...the Lord has secrets.

Psalm 25:14-15
14 The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him,
And He will make them know His covenant.
15 My eyes are continually toward the LORD,
For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

There are things that the Lord has not chose to reveal to mankind.
Some things He reveals to those who fear Him.
He makes His secrets known to those who know His covenant.
Some things He does not make known.

Deu 29:29
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God,  but the things  revealed  belong to us and to our sons  forever, that we may observe all the words of this law. 

The Lord will make known to us the things we need to know…
If we seek Him.
If we abide in Him.
If we trust Him.
If we rest in Him.
If we keep our eyes upon Him.

The Psalmist knew that the Lord would “pluck my feet out of the net”...rescue from harm and despair...If he continually kept His eyes upon the Lord.

Do we?
Keep your eyes upon the Lord.
