“Walk Before Me, Be Blameless”

Blessings folk!

Too often we think “it is too late”.
“I’m too old”.

Consider Abram.

He was 75 years old when God called him forth from Ur.

Gen 12:4
So Abram went forth as the LORD had spoken to him; and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

He was 86 when Ishmael was born of Hagar.

Gen 16:16
Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to him.

Now, look at what happens when he is 99…we begin the account…

Gen 17:1
Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him,
“I am God Almighty;
Walk before Me, and be blameless.

The Lord appears to Abram.
The Lord reveals profound truths…as we will see.
The Lord begins with the fact that he is the great “I AM”…God Almighty.
The Lord exhorts Abram to walk before Him.
The Lord exhorts Abram to be blameless.

So should we.
Walk before the Lord.
Be blameless.

True Believers are empowered to do so by the Holy Spirit.
Live in the Spirit.
Quench not the Spirit.
