We rest in the Lord.
We find strength in the Lord.
We press on in the Lord.
Perseverance is in the Lord.
4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,
6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God gives perseverance.
God gives encouragement.
Through “whatever was written in earlier times”...the Scripture.
If you are not imparting the Word into yourself, then you are not receiving what the Lord desires to grant.
18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
Therefore, be alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.
12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thingI do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Press on...lay hold of that which was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Press on...toward the goal for the prize of the upwards call of God in Christ Jesus.
Press on...in the perseverance and strength of the Lord.
