Rejoice! The Lord is come!
We have seen the narrative in the Word…
- the Lineage
- Zacharias
- Elizabeth
- Mary
- Joseph
- Angel
- Angels
- Shepherds
- Prophets
The Lord has told us much.
All was completely fulfilled as prophesied.
He took on the form of flesh to redeem mankind.
The Creator clothed Himself in the form of His creation.
Phl 2:5-11
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
On this day of celebrating His first coming, may we live in HIs attitude.
May we be emptied of self…
May we live as the Bond-Servants we are…
May we live in His humility…
May we daily walk in death to self and the flesh…
May we walk in the Name of Whose we are…
Today…
Confess to the Lord
Give glory to God the Father
Bow before the Lord
Rejoice!
Knowing that as in the perfect fulfillment of His coming the first time, He is coming again.
Be alert!
Be ready!
Fear not!
It is gonna get worse…
