“Religious Persecution”

Religious chicanery in attempting to kill Jesus.
False witnesses could not be found...later two came forward with twisted statements.
Inconsistent, lying testimonies.

Jesus kept silent.
He refuse to address the false accusations.
He did respond to the high priest… “I AM”!

The High Priest knew what Jesus was claiming...that He was God.

The High Priest declared blasphemy and the physical torture and ridicule began.

While this occurred, Peter denied Him.

Beware!
Be prepared!
