“Parables to the Crowds”

Todays reading:

Matthew 13:34-35
Mark 4:33-34

Jesus spoke to the crowds at this time in parables.

Why?

So that prophecy would be fulfilled…

So that the things hidden since the foundation of the world would be uttered and revealed. Have you considered that? The things that Jesus was speaking through the parables were things hidden to that point and time...interesting...

So that those who had eyes to see and ears to hear would believe...

So that those who refuse to see and hear would not believe...

So that the disciples could experience The Teacher, then receive understanding thereafter…

Give heed to the parables.
Give heed to the mysteries from the foundation of the world.
