Jesus’ two disciples brought the colt to Him.
Read what happened…
They brought the colt to Jesus and put their coats on it; and He sat on it.
And many spread their coats in the road,
and others spread leafy branches which they had cut from the fields.
Those who went in front and those who followed were shouting:
BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD;
Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David;
Hosanna in the highest!”
Why did the people do this?
Why spread their coats in the road?
Why spread leafy branches cut from the fields?
Why the “parade”…those in front, those who followed?
Why the shouting of “hosanna”?
Why the declaration of “blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord.”?
Why the declaration of “blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David”?
What did they know?
What were they saying?
Why did Jesus allow this?
Seek the Lord…
