“Made and Fashioned…”
Blessings folk!
Another stanza in Psalm 119.
One verse today.
Several profound truths.
Learn them.
Believe them.
Live in the Truth that is revealed in them.
Psalm 119:73

73 Your hands have made and fashioned me;
give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.
The Psalmist requests something - understanding.
He wanted understanding to learn the Lord’s commandments.
We should ask for the same.
The Psalmist declares a truth that is often rejected today - even by professing believers.
The Lord’s hands have made and fashioned him/us.
The Lord made us.
The Lord fashioned us.
Every one of us.
The corollaries are profound.
If the Lord has made each of us…
If the Lord has fashioned each of us…
If we are fearfully and wonderfully made…
Then how dare we determine who lives and who does not?
We are usurping the role of God.
There is blood on our hands in the euphemistic name of “choice”.
We must repent of this.
We must know that judgment will not be long delayed.
