“Luke and Laodicea”

Blessings folk!

Luke sends his greetings.
Remember, Luke is with Paul.

Col 4:14-15
Luke, the beloved physician, sends you his greetings, and also Demas.
Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea and also Nympha and the church that is in her house.

This is how we know that Luke was a physician.
Paul...and others… loved him.

Demas says “hi”.

Then greetings are passed to other portions of the Body of Christ...those in Laodicea. They were a vibrant Body...at this time…
Later?
Remember Revelation?

Rev 3:14-16
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this:
‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.
‘So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.

One final thought.
Note where the church met.
In the house of Nympha…a woman.
Her name means “bridegroom”.
How appropriate.
May we live as the Bridegroom of Christ.
Open the homes.
