Blessings folk!

The Lord continues to speak to Abram…uh…now Abraham.

Watch for a repeated phrase.

Gen 17:6-8

“I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you.

“I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.

“I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

The Lord speaks forth powerful proclamations into Abraham.

Did you see the repeated phrase?
“I will…”

I will…make you exceedingly fruitful
I will…make nations of you. Kings will come forth from you.
I will…establish My covenant between Me and you…and your descendants after you…generations…everlasting covenant.
I will…be God to you and descendants.
I will…give you/descendants the land of your sojournings…all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession.
I will be their God.

God initiates it all.
God does/will do it all.

Abraham believed.
