“Build, Pray, Keep, Wait”

Blessings folk!

We have spent an extended time examining those who have “crept in unnoticed”.

Now, note what we as Believers are to do.

We have seen one already…

Jude 1:17
17 But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are to remember what the apostles of our Lord told us.

Now…

Jude 1:20-21
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Again, they...and we…are reminded that we are the Beloved of the Lord.
No small truth.

Then, we are told what to do..

• Build ourselves up in the most holy faith
• pray in the Holy Spirit
• keep ourselves in the love of God
• wait...anxiously without sin...for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life… His return and our eternal existence with Him.

How different the Body of Christ would be if we lived in this way.
