“Woe to them!”
The Word of the Lord through Jude related to the men that had “crept in unnoticed”.
We have seen that these men have “gone the way of Cain”.
Now, read the next part of the verse...underlined…
Jude 1:11
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
The error of Balaam.
One of the more interesting accounts in the Word.

Balaam’s error?
Trying to make money off the Word of the Lord.
Greed.
Saying one thing, doing another.
Not being obedient to the initial Word of the Lord.
Trying the Lord.
Teaching the enemy how to undermine the people of Israel.
These men that Jude mentions...and many within the Body today… are all about the money.
It is a grievous error to bring the Word of the Lord for pay only.
Take the time to read of Balaam.
The Lord will reveal much.

Numbers 22:28-29
28 And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
It is one thing to have an ass speak to you…
It is another to carry on a conversation with an ass...
