"Word of Reconciliation"

“Word of Reconciliation”

Blessings folk!

The beginning of a wonderful conclusion to 2 Corinthians 5.

Note from where “all these things” (the things we have seen in 2 Cor. 5) come.
What has occurred?
How?
To what purpose?

2Co 5:18-19

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

All these things are from God.
He, God, reconciled us to Himself.
It was His work.
It was His intention.
It was His plan.
God did so through Christ.

He gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
We have been reconciled.
We are to reconcile.

God reconciled the world to Himself through Christ.
He did not count our trespasses against us.

He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
We are not to hold trespasses agains one another.

We, the new creatures of a new creation, are to be the very vehicle of the Word of reconciliation.

Think on that.
Be it.
