Blessings Folk!

Today’s reading:

Matthew 4:13
Mark 1:21-22
Luke 4:31-32
John 2:12

Jesus taught in the synagogue.
He taught His people.
Jesus taught with authority.
He taught the Truth of the Most High God as the Word of God.

So different from what we see today.

Rare is the person that teaches with authority the Truth of the Word.
Most have substituted control/witchcraft for authority.
They think “cuteness” is relevance.
They think “profound” insights are better than the Word of the Lord.

As the Spirit said through Paul to the church in Rome…

Romans 1
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

The Authorized Version tells us Jesus taught with power, with authority.

So should we.

Why do we not?
