“Double-Minded”

Blessings folk!

Another stanza...

Psalm 119:113-115
Samekh
113 I hate the double-minded,     but I love your law.
114 You are my hiding place and my shield;     I hope in your word.
115 Depart from me, you evildoers,     that I may keep the commandments of my God.

How correct the Psalmist is.
The “double-minded” actions are to be hated.
Those of vain thoughts.

So many professing believers are double-minded.
They profess faith and obedience to the Most High, but their actions reveal otherwise.
Such is pervasive within the organizational church.
Bold lies.
Back-biting.
Gossip.
Slander.
Etc.

We are to despise such.

We are to do what the Psalmist did…

• Love the law of the Lord.
• Hope in the Word of the Lord
• Hide in the Lord
• Depend upon the Lord as our Shield
• Keep the commandments of the Lord

May the evil doers depart from us.
May the deceive repent and show fruit of repentance.
