“Smell”

Blessings folk!

How do you smell?
Let me rephrase that.
What do you smell like?
Not much better. Happy

We are to love OneAnother.
Such love is a pleasing aroma to the Most High.
How do I know?
The Word says so.

Note the following:
  • We are to be followers/imitators of God
  • We are the children of God, imitating Him.

Ephesians 5:1
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Then, this:

  • walk in love, as Christ loves us
  • as Christ gave Himself up...an offering, a sacrifice, a sweetsmelling savour.

Ephesians 5:2
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Walking in love for OneAnother is pleasing to the Lord.
It smells good to Him.

We walk in love in the same way that Christ has loved us.
We give ourselves up for OneAnother, as Christ did.
We love OneAnother as a sacrifice to God, as Christ did.

So, again.
What smell do you provide?
It is the sweetsmelling savour pleasing to the Lord?
I believe this is detectable by man.
They see something.
They smell something different about us.

The next word in verse 3 is “but”...we will look at that tomorrow.
For today, may we manifest the fragrance of the Rose of Sharon.
