“All That He Has Is In Your Power”

Blessings folk!

The satan was “in the face of God.”
He was irritated.
Mad.

Job 1:8-11

The LORD said to Satan,
“Have you considered My servant Job?
For there is no one like him on the earth,
a blameless and upright man,
fearing God and turning away from evil.”

Then Satan answered the LORD, “Does Job fear God for nothing?

“Have You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side?
You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

“But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face.”

He challenged God to remove the “hedge of protection” about Job and his family.

What was God’s response?

He agreed!
To a degree.

Job 1:12
Then the LORD said to Satan,
“Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him.”
So Satan departed from the presence of the LORD.

All of Job’s “possessions”…all he had…was in now in the power of the satan.
Only, the satan could not put forth his hands against Job personally.

The satan departed from the presence of God.

Wonder what he did next?

We do not need to wonder.
The Word tells us.
We will see.

For today, know that sometimes things happen for which we have no explanation.
Job was totally unaware of what was occurring in the unseen realm in the midst of elohim.
He had not clue as to what was about to happen.

Hummm…sounds like us.
