Another Kingdom parable.
The kingdom may be compared…

Do take time to read the passages…a couple of times through.

There is so much here...actually beyond the scope of this format.

Note these…

The King gave a wedding feast for his son.
The King called those who had been invited.
The invited refused to come.

The Called refused to come.

The King then sends more servants to invited the Called...explains all the preparation.

The Called…
  • paid no attention
  • went their way
    • one to his farm
    • another to his business
  • the rest seized the King’s slaves and mistreated and killed them.
  • made excuses
    • just bought land
    • just bought oxen
    • just married a wife

The King was furious.
He sent other slaves to invite the unworthy...to compel them.
The wedding hall was filled.

The King comes.
But, there is a man without wedding dress.
The man not dressed in wedding clothes had no response.

Are you clothed in the righteousness of Christ?
Are you clothed in the Blood?

What say you?

Lastly, the called refused to come.

Jesus says, many are called, but few chosen.

Hummmm….
