“Let No Man Deceive You...”

Blessings folk!

Ephesians 5:6-7
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

A command.
An instruction.
Let no man deceive you.

We as believers have a role, a responsibility, to be not deceived.
Especially with vain words.

So many vain words are spoken “in the name of the Lord”.
Beware.
Be not deceived.
Knowing the Word will protect us from deception.
Living full of the Spirit will protect us from deception.

“Because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.”

What things?
The things mentioned in the previous verses:

• fornication
• uncleanness
• covetousness
• filthiness
• foolish talk
• course jesting
• whoremongering
• idolatry

The children of disobedience to these.

Another command/instruction.

Be not partakers with them.

Do not do these things.

Love OneAnother and do not the things done by the children of disobedience.
