Repeatedly Jesus tells His disciples to “fear not”.

Fear is a major tool of the enemy to distract and dissuade the Body of Christ.

In the context of these passages the Lord is speaking of confessing Him.

We are not to fear proclaiming the Kingdom.
We are to speak what the Lord reveals to us.
We are to declare Truth.

Jesus reveals the serious nature of the matter.
If we confess Jesus before man, then He will confess us before Father.
If we deny Jesus before man, then He will deny us before Father in heaven.

Fearless confession is evidence of true salvation, a real conversion experience.
Be not ashamed.
(Note the Mark passage…”when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” This gives some insight into elements of the Lord’s return!)

Confess Him!
Be not ashamed!
Be not fearful!
Fear the Lord.
