“Helmet…”

Ephesians 6:17
17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

A helmet protects the head and all that it entails...the brain, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, etc.
The head is likely the most important portion of the body to protect.
What is the helmet in the Ephesians 6 picture?

Salvation.

It is salvation that covers.
It is salvation that protects.
Only the salvation of the Lord.

Think on that.
Too often we neglect the wonder of what the Lord has done in salvation.
Our very thoughts are protected through the salvation of the Lord...if we allow Him...if we abide.

Determine today to do so.

May every thought be guarded by the salvation of the blood of Jesus.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
